Jewel Dental is a general dental practice on Admiral Girouard Street in Griesbach. We're small, we're local, and we're open on the days most clinics aren't.
The hours are the whole idea
Most dental clinics in Edmonton are open Monday to Friday, roughly nine to five. That's fine if your own working day is flexible. If it isn't, a checkup means losing a morning of pay, so it gets pushed to next month, and then the month after that.
We built the week the other way round. Open Wednesday through Friday until 6pm, all day Saturday, and every second Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday, which we'd rather state plainly than bury.
The same thinking applies to emergencies. We deliberately don't fill every slot in advance, so when someone calls on a Saturday morning with a broken tooth there's somewhere to put them.
- English and Arabic. Our team speaks both, so you can explain what's wrong in the language you actually think in.
- Families welcome, children of any age. Weekend appointments tend to suit families better than pulling a child out of school midweek.
- CBCT 3D imaging and an intraoral scanner on site. The scanner replaces the putty impression trays most people remember, and CBCT means implant planning happens here rather than being sent out.
- Implants placed in the clinic. The surgical side is done here, so you're not referred elsewhere partway through.

Tell you the cost first
You hear what something costs, and how urgent it genuinely is, before it gets booked. "This can wait six months" is an answer we give often.
No lectures
People avoid dentists for real reasons: cost, a bad experience, or years slipping by. If it's been a long time, that's information, not a character flaw.
A person, not a portal
Our booking form asks for three things and then a human being calls you. No account to create, no confirmation chain, no reminder asking you to confirm the confirmation.
